Did you know that ticket sales build only one-half of our financial foundation? Your generous support ensures that the Anchorage Symphony is able to uphold our tradition of musical excellence and artistry, sustain and expand our education programs, and broaden our services to the community.
Musica Nova is a commissioning club founded by the Anchorage Symphony in the 2003/2004 season to promote the creation and performance of new works.
By sponsoring an ASO musician, you help offset the costs associated with maintaining a symphony orchestra. As a Chair Sponsor, you show your support of the ASO and recognize the efforts of the musicians who provide you with live symphonic music. Each year groups or individuals come together to sponsor ASO musicians who might be friends, co-workers or relatives. Do you know an ASO musician, or have a favorite instrument? The ASO is still seeking sponsors for both Principal and Non-Principal Chairs.
Each season the Anchorage Symphony publishes a Classic Concert Program Booklet which is given to each concertgoer. The Program contains information about the evening's concert including program notes, guest artist bios, donor information, a list of musicians and ads from local businesses and organizations. Often kept by concertgoers as a souvenir of a special evening out, the program is an attractive publication we are proud to distribute free of charge.
Find out more about the Anchorage Symphony from the inside, out! Office volunteers answer phones, complete ticket orders, type correspondence, and perform countless other tasks that support the administration of the orchestra.
