The Anchorage Symphony is celebrating Randall Craig Fleischer’s 20th season as ASO Music Director – an occasion that deserves to be celebrated all season long! Join us as we kick off our 2018-2019 season of celebration at the 51st Annual Champagne Pops, featuring the music of Frank Sinatra.
One of the most popular and influential musical artists of the 20th century, Frank Sinatra is among the best-selling artists of all time with over 150 million albums sold. With a career that began in the swing era, Sinatra may be best known for his time with the Rat Pack, when he became a staple in Las Vegas. A very busy man, Sinatra also spent time in Hollywood, earning an Academy Award and three Golden Globes for various film appearances.
Joining your ASO to bring Sinatra’s music to life is the

infectious joy, wry playfulness, and robust vocals of
Tony DeSare. Known for his fresh take on old school classics, DeSare has headlined jazz clubs and concert halls from Carnegie to Las Vegas, and beyond. Be prepared, you may find yourself swaying and singing along as DeSare croons some of Ol’ Blue Eyes’ biggest hits including Come Fly With Me, I Got the World on a String, One for My Baby, and many more!

In addition to world-class entertainment, fine food and champagne in an intimate, cabaret setting, this elegant evening features a brief live auction and a Baton Drawing in which one lucky guest will conduct the ASO! Proceeds raised at Champagne Pops fund the ASO’s Music for My Neighbors programs which include: Annual Free Neighborhood Concert, Free Coaching in Schools for 6th-12th grade band and orchestra students, Tickets for My Neighbors, providing over 500 free concert tickets to

organizations that serve foster families, military families, disadvantaged youth, veterans, disabled, and elders in our community, and Move ‘em to the Music, which pays for bus transportation for more than 6,000 fourth, fifth and sixth graders attending Young People’s Concerts.
Champagne Pops is a highly popular affair with a reputation of excellent music and fine fare. We often hear it is a favorite gala of the year and attendees are known to book a table for the next year's Champagne Pops the Monday after the event! With a history of selling-out, you don't want to delay in reserving your table.
