Packets include research on composers, active listening guide, musical word find, crossword puzzle, concert manners sheet and suggested activities for your students.

Advance payment is highly recommended to reduce check-in lines on the day of the concert. If payment has not been made in advance, the full amount is due when you arrive at the theater.  Please have your payment ready, in one envelope, when you arrive. One large check is preferred over small bills.
Please include on the envelope:

    - teacher name
    - school name

    - number of people attending

Credit card payments
can be made up to two days prior to the concert (ASO Office - 274-8668). Credit cards will not be accepted at the door.

Anchorage Schools: The Anchorage Symphony Orchestra will make the arrangements for your bus transportation and will pay for the bus to transport your students within Anchorage.
MatSu Valley Schools: Please contact Mat-Su Borough School District Student Transportation Services to arrange for busing. The Anchorage Symphony will pay for 1/2 of the busing cots.
Private, Home, & Peninsula Schools: You will need to make your own transportation arrangements.

If applicable - Approximately one week before the concert, we will email you a bus schedule. The cost for the bus to transport your class to the concert is over $200. We like each bus to be full. Buses seat approximately 65 people, so please sign up with another teacher and help fill the bus. The bus company requires several days notice to schedule or cancel buses.  Classes canceling after the deadline given in your confirmation may be responsible for paying for the bus.

Cancellations and Changes: As we allow you to “pay at the door,” we ask that you return the courtesy by informing us of any changes in your attendance as soon as you can. This early communication may allow other classes to attend the concert.

QUESTIONS? Please contact the ASO office: or 274-8668.
